Several months after becoming champion of the Kanto Region, Red is called back by Blue to help on a secret mystery-solving mission! In Red’s absence the Kanto region has been overtaken by a strange mist that mutates Pokémon into shocking new forms, and the military has instated a lockdown! Are you a bad enough detective to discover the origin of the mutations and save Kanto? Another good thing is you can catch every single pokemon and even visit the orange archipelago!! Jessie James and Meowth even make a cannon appearance so it has a lot of of anime reference.A hack based on Roaming Red by TShadowKnight But a little heads up for those who want to evolve Pika with a thunder stone you cants sadly so it follows the story. The game is very crude and violent with some mild language and can be confusing and has its share of glitches but it is a good game that any Pokemon adventures fan should check out i know i got hooked and my friends who i let play did to. I really like this game especially the references to the anime make me laugh alot and i loved the red chapter in the manga and used to read Pokemon adventures a lot and playing it takes me back to my days as a 10 year old playing Firered which really makes me smile. The game follows the manga closely so the badge order and HM recovery path will be confusing for a bit but it is still a normal Pokemon's game just with a very violent story and some Pokemon dying such as the Arbock in Lavender tower being cut in half and instead of Chandlers in lavender Tower they have undead bloody zombies.
And misty who has a Mega Starmie and all the battles are increased in level with Pokemon at level 40 by the third badge. Lastly the game is quite difficult as all gym leaders have a unique variation of there normal Pokemon such as Brock who has 3 geodudes first bumping and I'm serious. You have Blue the normal rival and the new Green which is a female in black. Another big difference is you have 2 rivals which will impede your journey. Another difference is the player Red does talk in cut scenes and his words will come out red while others will have a chat bubble like normal with there name if there important. The game also features a large amount of Pokemon with the first 4 generation which can be caught and along the way there are scripted battles with Pokemon such as the Pikachu in Pewter City and the Gyardos near Rock Tunnel. The first battle you have is against a wild Nidorino which sadly you cant catch despite Red catching it Canon but this may be to prevent you from saving the Pokeball and catching mew later which is your second scripted battle.
Every town and city is redesigned and even pallet town is expanded and Pallet town forest is added to show the part were Red meets Blue mew and team rocket for the first time!! The Player can choose male of female and starts out with a Poliwhirl instead of the usual starter and later in the game will get a Bulbasaur by default. It is very closely based off and isn't bad. The Game Starts off at the beginning of the manga and follows Red. But at any rate if you would like to hear more stay tuned if not i at least recommend you hit the link it really is good The manga is very mature with some Pokemon dying. After that Gold Silver and Crystal come in and there adventures in Johto and so on. While after there Arc Yellow is introduced later in honor of Pokemon Yellow Version. For example the original Heroes were Red Blue and Green named after the original Gameboy Games Red Blue and Green. The manga is split up into Arcs and follow the games in there own unique fashion with the main characters usually sharing the name of the games.
